Defence Solutions

Protect and secure your land and airspace using robots and drones

Benefits

The situation on the ground in combat zones calls for smart and reliable solutions to save lives, giving the defence the latest state-of-the-art platform to guide, monitor and operate drone missions from a command-and-control environment by computerized flight missions.

We offer a platform that enables safe drone missions operated from HQ and/or Command-and-Control centre without the use of drone-pilots on the frontline. Flights are performed by operators safely in the RCZ (rear combat zone). Each operator can control and operate multiple drones at the same time, safely and under the command of relevant officers. Thus, ISR is safe in terms of personnel within the operational theatre.

The Lorenz C2-system

Unique features for defence use

Minimize the exposure of drone teams on the front line and enable the drone pilots to focus more on the ISR tasks without any concern for enemy forces in close proximity. Our mission-critical equipment is supported by a user-friendly web interface providing the ideal platform to make the drones autonomous.

The “Lorenz C2-system” is an all-in-one intelligent solution in which multiple drones at multiple locations are operated simultaneously by one edge-computer (the Lorenz AI-Link®) in one cloud platform; the Lorenz Hive®.

The real-time video streaming is used to take fast operational decisions during the mission whilst the full documentation in the archive allows you to use relevant data as evidence as well as debrief the personnel, create valuable learning, and improve their skills.

the c2-system

Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance

The C2-system for copter-drones is a software platform where pre-planned missions and mission deviations are operated from HQ without the use of drone-pilots on the frontline. Flights are performed by operators in the RCZ.

Each operator controls and operates multiple drones at the same time, safely and under the command of relevant officers. All data is transferred to Data Centres and enables command staff to hot wash, debrief mission and train personnel.

The purpose of the platform offered for drone missions in combat zones is to provide smart and reliable solutions that can guide, monitor and operate drone missions from a command-and-control environment by computerized flight missions, in order to save lives.

The platform enables safe drone missions without the need for drone pilots on the frontline by allowing operators to control and operate multiple drones remotely from a rear combat zone (RCZ), under the command of relevant officers.

The platform enables each operator to control and operate multiple drones at the same time, safely and effectively, thereby increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of drone missions.

Using robots and drones in combat zones for land and airspace security can provide numerous benefits, including increased situational awareness, reduced risk to human personnel, and improved operational efficiency.

The platform contributes to the safety of personnel within the operational theatre during ISR missions by enabling drone missions to be conducted remotely from a rear combat zone, thus reducing the need for drone pilots to be in the frontline, and minimizing the risks associated with direct human involvement in dangerous combat situations.
